We offer a range of Hydropool chemicals, keeping stock in our showroom allows us to have the treatment options readily available at our Bristol hot tub and swim spa location.
Many chemicals are a necessity when it comes to keeping your hot tub and swim spa clean and safe. Ensuring that proper set up is actioned, initial shock chemicals will be needed to allow your water to reach the correct ppm. Then comes the steps needed to be in place to make sure that your hot tub or swim spa continues to remain safe and usable. The importance of circulation and filtration is high, ensuring that filter cartridges are cleaned every 4-6 weeks but more frequently should you notice any water contamination (such as grass, leaves or dirt), then your filters will need cleaning immediately.
Similarly, there are many chemicals that need to be utilised to ensure that the balance of your water remains at a good level. For bacterial control, spa stabilised chlorine granules or spa bromine granules can help you to disinfect your water and keep it free from bacteria and slime.
We also keep in stock the necessary products to help you regularly oxidise your spa, completing this weekly or fortnightly to ensure that excess contamination is removed; as well as any non-filterable wastes.
One of the most important aspects to keep on top of is the pH level of the water you are using, a high pH can lead to skin/eye irritation, whilst a low pH can lead to corrosion of equipment, especially metals. We have a pH increaser and a pH reducer to help tackle these issues should they arise.
With additional chemical such as a foam removing chemical, as well as general cleaning products for your spa, we are here to help you keep on top of your spa maintenance.
